Jean‑Charles le Bault do la Morinière the
owner, chairman and winemaker of this much loved Burgundy house renowned for its
exquisite Bonneau du Martray Corton- Charlemagne will present a vertical tasting
of this legendary white wine. Also on offer will be the chance to taste Le
Corton, the red wine produced by this estate.

Join
the president of Champagne Bollinger Ghislain do Montgolfier to indulge in the
pleasure of tasting a range of the inimitably
Styled Bollinger. This Master class will include the Bollinger Special Cuvée, different
vintages of Grande Année, including the
latest vintage 1992, and a range of vintages of Bollinger RD.

Britain's foremost Italian wine expert, David Gleave
MW, guides us through the exciting and often controversial Italian World of top
quality Amarone. Once a rustic wine of quirky individual character, Amarone has
shot up in price, prestige and duality over
the last couple of years to rival Italy's best from anywhere else in the
peninsula. So join the Italian cognoscenti to discover why Super Premium Amarone
is now all the rage.

and its siblings
Having been cited as the only first growth of the
southern hemisphere, Penfolds flagship wine Grange is considered by many to be
Australia's finest wine. With bottles having fetched enormous sums at auction,
this Masterclass is an affordable way to taste this world‑class wine.
Under the Guidance of Toni Paterson you will discover a range of Grange's
shiraz based wines from this legendary estate as well as other wines from
the Penfold range including the acclaimed newly released Penfolds RWT Shiraz and
the well‑known Bin 707, all of which have built such a strong
international image for Australian wine.

Château Cos d'Estournel and Château Pichon
Longueville Comtesse de Lalande Claret lovers have a treat in store when two of the great châteaux of
Bordeaux join forces to bring you this fabulous Masterclass. Gildas d'Ollone of
Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande and Jean‑Guillaume Prats
of Château Cos d'Estournel will present a vertical tasting of these world
fatuous châteaux with vintages going back into the early '80s.

pm Stars of the Rhône
Jean‑Luc Colombo, together with 15 elite
Rhône wine producers, has created a dynamic new association Rhône Vignobles.
Alongside Hubert Valeyer and Jean‑Michel Gerin, he will guide you
through the wines from these fabulous vineyards from the Syrah dominated
appellations of the northern Rhône Valley to the more varied appellations of
Chateauneuf‑du‑Pape, Côtes du Rhône, Côteaux d'Aix en Provence
and Roussillon in the south.
Vintage Dinner

What
better way to start a purely indulgent evening
than with the 1994 cuvée Cristal, the jewel in the Louis Roederer crown
introduced by Frédéric Rouzaud of this great Champagne house? As guests are
seated for dinner they will be treated to one of Alsace's best, Josmeryer's
Tokay Pivot Gris "Fondation" 1996, Vieilles Vignes presented by
Christopher Ehrhart.
Introduced
by Gildas d'Ollone will follow Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande
1994, a wine renowned for its finesse and elegance. We arc delighted this year
to welcome as our Guest of Honour, Decanter's Current Man of the Year Paul
Draper, of Ridge Vineyards, who will present his cult Californian Wine Monte
Bello 1991. To an accompany pudding, Bérénice Lurton will present the
delectable Sauternes, Château Climens 1985, and Maurice Hennessey will round
the off the meal perfectly with Hennessey XO.
Those having attended a Fine Wine Encounter in the
past will already know that
this is the wine event of the year. With 100 of the
world's top wine producers flying in from all parts of the globe, this is a
unique opportunity to tour the vineyards of the world in one weekend.
